Position Title : Biomedical Equipment Technician

Location : New York, NY 10037

Contract Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Pay Rate : $1,087.50 per week

Overview :

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Biomedical Equipment Technician  for an exciting job in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities :

Inspect, install, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment, devices, and systems.

Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibrations to ensure accurate performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.

Maintain detailed service documentation and equipment maintenance records.

Collaborate with clinical and technical staff to ensure equipment is safe and functional.

Ensure compliance with hospital safety, regulatory, and infection control standards.

Requirements :

Minimum of 1 year of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance or repair.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Associate’s Degree in Biomedical Technology, Biomedical Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair documentation.

Familiarity with healthcare safety and regulatory standards.

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical environment.

Professional training or certifications related to biomedical equipment maintenance.
