Position Title : Senior DevOps Engineer

Location : Onsite San Francisco, CA (5 days / week)

Position Type : Full-Time

Start Timeline : ASAP

Work Policy : Onsite only

Relocation Support : Available

Compensation : $170,000 $260,000 base + competitive equity

Role Summary

Seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure development across deployment, observability,

and CI / CD systems. This is a high-impact role responsible for scaling technical operations from the

ground up in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment. You will work closely with engineering leadership and

be fully onsite in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable Kubernetes infrastructure for single- and multi-tenant environments

Build observability stacks including monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation

Develop CI / CD pipelines and automated deployment systems

Lead incident response and infrastructure reliability efforts

Collaborate with engineering, AI research, and leadership to align systems with product goals

Required Qualifications

5+ years of DevOps experience, including at least one senior-level position

Demonstrated experience building infrastructure from scratch at a startup

Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, CI / CD pipelines, and observability tools

Proficient in JavaScript or similar programming languages

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and / or GCP preferred)

Computer Science or Engineering degree from a top university

High ownership mentality with strong execution capabilities

Ability to work full-time onsite in San Francisco

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in B2B SaaS or contract-heavy technology companies

Familiarity with LLMs or machine learning infrastructure

Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Pulumi)

Background in scaling single-tenant infrastructure for enterprise use
