A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT

As Housekeeping Attendant, your primary responsibility is to ensure that our Midwood House and Country Club are maintained in pristine condition. This role is essential in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our members, guests and staff. Follow a structured shift and schedule to complete all cleaning and sanitizing tasks efficiently. You will monitor supply levels and inform management when restocking is needed.

This role plays a vital part in delivering the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality that define the Midwood experience and Country Club experience. If you take pride in creating beautiful, sanitary spaces, we welcome you to join our team.

Midwood House :

Clean and maintain 7 bedrooms, 3 full-size bathrooms and common areas. Ensure all beds (3 king, 4 queen, and 1 full) are properly made and linens are pulled and replaced as needed. You will dust, mop, and vacuum all rooms and sanitize bathrooms and high-touch surfaces. Tidy up and clean the kitchen and dining area after breakfast service.

Country Club :

Keep restrooms clean, sanitized, and fully stocked with towels and other supplies. You will remove trash from restrooms and common areas. Maintain cleanliness and organization in employee locker rooms and restrooms and ensure all areas remain neat, orderly, and guest-ready always. As a Housekeeping attendant you will also vacuum daily and mop.

Daily Duties for Country Club :

• Vacuuming - Edges and beneath furniture which has to be moved 3 hours weekly.
• High Dusting - Crown Molding, Ceilings and light fixtures- 3 hours weekly.
• Fitness Center - Wiping down equipment, Dust and Clean under Equipment and Clean Mirrors and Dust and Clean Fans. 2- hours weekly.
• Dust and Polish Furniture - 2 hours-weekly.
• Trophy cases - Library = 3 hours, Foyer = 1 hour, Member's Lounge = 1 hours, Pro Shop entrance lobby = 1 hour, Men's Grill = 1 hour, Card Room = 1 hour.
• Elevator – Clean Stainless, tracks – 1 hour weekly.
• Brass Cleaning – Mean's Grill and Member's Lounge foot bars = 1 hour weekly.
• Brass Cleaning – Door Entrances = 2 hours – Monthly.
• Carpet Cleaning – Spot removals = 1 hour weekly.
• Wall Cleaning – Sport cleaning – Dining areas – 1 hour weekly .
• Doors – Coating doors with Old English or other polish applicants = 2 hours – weekly.
• Wine Cabinet – Clean and coating with Old English or other polishing applicant = 1 hour-weekly.
• Wood Floors – Tuesday's – Dust – Mop – and Scratch Treatments = 2 hours – weekly.

The schedule for this full-time position includes AM and PM Shifts Tuesdays-Sundays and occasional Mondays.
