What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter, observing for any security-related concerns. Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior within the retail environment. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site procedures. Collaborate with retail management and / or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to clients and visitors. Minimum Requirements : At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
