Opportunity : RN - PACU

Job Details :

Provide skilled nursing care to patients in preoperative and postoperative phases

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional status on admission and post-surgery

Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on assessment data

Monitor patients for early signs of complications and provide immediate interventions

Deliver comfort, reassurance, and education to patients and families throughout perioperative experience

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members

Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes according to facility policies

Maintain safety, cleanliness, and readiness of pre / postoperative care areas

Participate in quality improvement, safety, and risk management initiatives

Serve as a resource for new staff and contribute to team learning

Associates Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)

6+ months of RN experience required; PACU, preop, postop, or critical care experience preferred

Active RN License, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills required

Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations

Excellent communication and teamwork skills needed

Competence with electronic health records and Microsoft Windows required

Physical demands include lifting / moving up to 30 lbs regularly, 40 lbs occasionally, and up to 100 lbs in rare cases

Frequent standing and walking with occasional reaching and fine motor activities
