The position may be subject to continuation based on available funds and department needs. Excellent benefits include health care, dental program, and vision services.
At the beginning of each academic year, all professional expert, short-term, substitute, and student employees with an assignment which will exceed 30 days will be provided with five days (40 hours) of paid sick leave. This paid sick leave is available to be used for an illness of the professional expert, short-term, substitute, and student employee or his / her family member and / or for leave due to domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking. A professional expert, short-term, substitute, and student employee shall be entitle to use such sick leave as of the 90th day of employment. The Job and Internship Developer will be dedicated to initiating and developing relationships with employers, business organizations, public agencies, community-based organizations as well as Citrus College faculty and staff to identify employment, internship, apprenticeship, and volunteer opportunities for current Citrus College students. This position will assist with the coordination of career events and creating marketing and promotional materials to inform students and other stakeholders of available services and opportunities.
