Title : Test & Validation Engineer

Location : Tucson, AZ

Duration : 12 Months

Pay Rate : $30 / hr - $35 / hr on W2

Work Schedule : Standard Schedule : Monday-Friday 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM

9 / 80 Schedule : Monday-Thursday 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM & Every Other Friday 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM

Position's Contributions to Work Group

  • Support test and validation activities on large mining equipment.
  • Validate software functionality at the system level.
  • Perform machine-level testing for large mining trucks.
  • Collaborate with mechanics and engineers to ensure requirements are met.

Typical Day

  • Plan, execute, and document machine-level testing.
  • Interact daily with engineers, mechanics, operators, instrumentation technicians, supply chain, and logistics.

    • Work environment :

  • 20% office, 80% hands-on in shop or local field.
  • PPE required : boots, glasses, uniform.

    • Candidate Requirements

  • Education : B.S. in Engineering (No associate degrees, no Master's – considered overqualified).
  • Experience : Minimum 1 years (internships count).
  • Relevant backgrounds : Mechanics, construction, landscaping.

    • Work Style

  • Away from desk most of the time.
  • Hands-on with heavy equipment.
  • Planning, executing, data acquisition, documentation.
  • Some project management aspects.

  • Master's degree.
