A company is looking for a Junior Data Infrastructure Engineer to join their European Data Infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining data infrastructure solutions
Support existing data pipelines and infrastructure, monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues
Contribute to improving the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of data workflows
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
0-2 years of experience in data engineering or infrastructure engineering (internships and academic projects count)
Basic understanding of data processing technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop
Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala
Introductory experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and basic knowledge of Linux
