Our client is an A+ rated international carrier in search of an experienced Commercial Lines Underwriting Specialist to join their expanding division. This individual will handle Middle Market commercial P&C lines in an assigned Northeastern territory. This role will be hybrid in Hartford or potentially fully remote in the Northeast for candidates not in a commutable distance.

The Underwriting Specialist will heavily focus on new business production of property and casualty coverage with retail brokers in the assigned territory. New business production is a priority for this role.

Ideal candidates will have experience handling new business production of middle market size accounts with existing retail relationships in the territory.

Requirements :

  • 2-8+ years of middle market P&C underwriting experience required
  • Retail relationships required
  • BA / BS degree required
