Job Title: Assembly Production AssociateJob DescriptionThis role focuses on setting up, assembling, repairing, testing, and packaging final and sub-assemblies for spray handles and nozzles on an assembly and production line. You will work at an individual station while maintaining consistent quality and output across various workstations and assembly lines in a clean, organized environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up equipment and materials at your workstation to prepare for assembly tasks.
- Assemble final products and sub-assemblies, primarily spray handles and nozzles, according to established procedures and specifications.
- Repair assemblies as needed to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Test completed assemblies to verify proper function and identify any defects.
- Package final products and sub-assemblies accurately and securely for shipment or further processing.
- Maintain required work quality and output at all assigned workstations and assembly lines.
- Follow standard operating procedures and production guidelines to ensure consistent results.
- Handle materials and components safely, including occasionally lifting and loading items up to 40 pounds.
- Perform frequent, repetitive elbow and hand movements associated with assembly and production work.
- Keep your workstation clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the shift.
- Follow all safety rules, including wearing closed-toe shoes and using any required protective equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and schedules.
Essential Skills- Experience working in assembly, assembly line, or production line environments.
- Ability to perform repetitive assembly and production tasks with consistent accuracy and quality.
- Capability to stand, walk, or sit for up to eight hours during an eight-hour workday.
- Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, lift, and load up to 40 pounds safely.
- Comfort with frequent, repetitive elbow and hand movements required for assembly work.
- Basic warehouse or production experience, including handling materials and components.
- Attention to detail to ensure products meet quality standards during assembly, testing, and packaging.
- Reliability in maintaining required work quality and output at all assigned workstations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Experience with light soldering tasks in an assembly or production setting.
- Familiarity with working at an individual station while contributing to overall production goals.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new tasks within the assembly process.

Work Environment
You will work in a clean production facility with approximately 100 employees, where each person has their own dedicated workstation. The environment includes both heating and cooling to maintain a comfortable indoor climate. The standard schedule runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., providing regular daytime hours. Work is primarily performed on an assembly and production line, involving repetitive motions and handling of light to moderate-weight components. Closed-toe shoes are required as part of the dress code, and you are expected to keep your work area neat, organized, and safe at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
