Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong Playwright automation experience to join our team for a long-term contract engagement. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automated testing, hands-on experience with Playwright, and a deep understanding of modern QA methodologies and CI / CD processes. This role will involve developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript preferred).
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand functional and technical requirements.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to ensure system stability and product quality.
• Perform regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools.
• Enhance automation frameworks and optimize test coverage for scalability and performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Support CI / CD automation by integrating tests into pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Ensure QA best practices and maintain test documentation.
