Job Title : Human Resources Benefits Coordinator

Position Overview : Seeking a detail-oriented Benefits & Leave Coordinator to support employee benefits administration and leave of absence programs. This role ensures accurate processing, clear communication, and exceptional service for employees navigating benefits, eligibility, and leave requests.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with administration of medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records, coordinate updates with payroll, and support open enrollment.
- Provide employee guidance on benefits options, eligibility, and enrollment processes.
- Support and track FMLA, CFRA, ADA, PDL, and other leave requests; manage documentation and deadlines.
- Communicate leave status, return-to-work updates, and required forms to employees and supervisors.
- Track benefit premium payments during leave and maintain organized, confidential records.
- Collaborate with third-party administrators and vendors to resolve issues and ensure quality service.
Qualifications :
High school diploma required; AA degree preferred.Experience with HRIS systems and benefits administration.Knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, ADA, PDL regulations.Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and customer service.Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.Ability to work independently, prioritize deadlines, and support employees with empathy.
