A company is looking for a Legal Secretary to support attorneys with California litigation on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
Review new assignments and assess immediate actions required
Maintain attorney calendar and manage deadlines
Draft and file legal documents, including answers to complaints and discovery packages
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of related experience in a legal setting
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance defense preferred
Familiarity with California court systems and civil procedures
Proficiency in MS Office and word processing
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
