Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide specialized educational support in a K-12 school setting. This role focuses on fostering an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs, particularly within the 2nd and 3rd grades.

Location : Albuquerque, NM

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique learning requirements of each student.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate inclusion practices within the classroom.
  • Support students in munication programs, enhancing their social and academic skills.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure effective learning outes.
  • Engage with families to provide updates and discuss student development.

Qualifications :

  • Valid state certification in special education.
  • Experience in teaching students with varying disabilities, particularly in K-12 settings.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and parents.
  • Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet individual student needs.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in special education.
