Staff Accountant Opportunity

Robert Half is currently recruiting for an established distribution company in Fort Myers that is looking for a staff accountant to add to their team. Key Responsibilities :

• The role will primarily be focused on accounts payables - processing invoices, managing vendor payments, managing inventory, and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable : invoice entry, authorization, payments, and vendor file maintenance.
• Support accounts receivable : prepare and send invoices, track payments, and assist with collections as needed.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts; investigate and resolve variances.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
• Communicate frequently and professionally with vendors, business partners, and internal teams.
• Assist with month-end close and general accounting tasks as assigned.
