• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology school, M.A. or M.S. degree in Communicative Disorder / Speech-Language Pathology
• Member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and certified by the Association
• Current California License
• Current American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• One (1) year of experience preferably in a medical setting to include : acute, outpatient or home health settings with adults and / or pediatrics

The Speech- Language Pathologist is a qualified professional person who directs, supervises, evaluates, and provides speech therapy services in the acute, outpatient or home setting as prescribed by the attending physician.

Lifting Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to handle or feel objects. The employee is frequently required to walk or stand, occasionally required to sit, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. Generally lifting not more than 25 Ibs. and / or carrying objects weighing 10 Ibs. The employee may occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 Ibs. with help.
