LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Cardiothoracic Surgery MD in Indiana!

🫀 Position : Locum – Physician – Cardiothoracic Surgery

🕒 Shift : 24-Hour Call

👨‍⚕️ # of Providers Needed : 1

🗓 Start : December 2025

📅 Coverage Dates : Dec 22 – Jan 5 (Potential for ongoing sporadic coverage)

🏥 Position Highlights

🔸 Practice Setting : Hospital-based

🔸 Average Surgical Volume :

~2 hearts / week

2–3 lungs / week

➡️ Approx. 5–6 procedures weekly

🔸 ER Volume : 45K / year

🔸 Operating Rooms : 16

🔸 EMR : EPIC

🔸 Credentialing : ~30 days

🔸 Reimbursements Provided : Flight ✈️

🛠 Scope of Practice

❤️ Adult Cardiac Surgery

CABG

Arterial revascularization

Redo coronary revascularization

🫁 General Thoracic Surgery

Thoracotomy procedures

Lung biopsy, resections, pneumonectomy

Chest wall reconstruction

Mediastinal surgery & biopsy

🔧 Additional Required Procedures

Heart valve repair & replacement

Non-surgical heart valve replacement (CoreValve®)

Mitral valve repair

Tube thoracostomy

Pericardial window

  • ️ Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • ️ Active Indiana Medical License
  • ️ Active IN DEA / CSR
  • ️ 24-hr call includes 4 hrs gratis
  • ️ Available for all open dates
