Security Officer - Residential Entry Driver

As a Security Officer Residential Entry Driver in Palm Beach Gardens, FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

As an Access Control Officer at a residential location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for residents and guests. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication upholding Allied Universal's values of agility reliability and teamwork while supporting a caring people-first environment.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and control access to the residential community verifying credentials of residents guests and service personnel to help maintain authorized entry.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting residents and visitors with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential area in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the community and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any unusual activities security-related incidents or maintenance issues observed during patrols or access control duties.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and emergency responders as needed supporting Allied Universal's commitment to client service and protection.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
