Construction Project Manager

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world. We are seeking highly skilled Construction Project Managers to oversee and monitor large, complex construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical judgment, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of construction while ensuring compliance with project requirements, specifications, and government regulations.

Key responsibilities include :

• Overseeing and monitoring construction requirements, conduct site surveys, and ensure compliance with construction plans and specifications.
• Preparing, updating, and managing construction schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Maintaining oversight of construction activities, reporting issues, observations, and blockers to Contractor and Government leadership.
• Exercising technical judgment in addressing a wide range of construction-related problems and recommend effective solutions.
• Coordinating and monitoring project tasks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and government representatives.
