Hours Per Week :

40 Hours plus services (35 Tue-Sat, 5 Sun)

Summary of Position :

The Experience Pastor provides visionary leadership and oversight to the overall weekend experience and its supporting ministries at Faith Family Church. This role is vital in creating an excellent and engaging experience from the parking lot to the auditorium. The Experience Pastor is also responsible for managing all experience-related supplies, as well as overseeing the setup and takedown of all portable environments.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Guest Experience :

  • Responsible for leading and developing the Experience Ministries of Faith Family Church, including Greeters, Parking, Hospitality, Ushers, Information Center, and the monthly Baptism Experience.
  • Ensure the leadership structure within Experience Ministries is clearly defined, properly executed, and producing healthy teams.
  • Maintain Dream Team requirements and uphold Faith Family Churchs standards across all areas of oversight.
  • Review and update policies and procedures regularly to ensure efficiency and alignment with church values.
  • Oversee the ordering, inventory, and distribution of all necessary supplies to support weekend and portable experiences.
  • Plan and lead quarterly training sessions for all Experience Team leaders and volunteers.
  • Coordinate quarterly fellowship events to strengthen team culture and connection.

    • Setup & Takedown :

  • Ensure all portable environments are executed with excellence, efficiency, and care. Oversee the setup and takedown of equipment each weekend, maintaining systems for storage, organization, and upkeep.

    • Oversee the setup and takedown of all portable environments to ensure excellence, efficiency, and care.

  • Lead and develop teams responsible for setup and takedown, ensuring clarity of roles and consistency in execution.
  • Create and maintain detailed playbooks to standardize setup and takedown processes across all environments.
  • Maintain systems for storage, organization, and upkeep of all portable equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, functional, and ready for use each weekend.
  • Order and track necessary supplies to support all portable environments.

    • Care and Connection :

  • Care
  • Weekly Care : Responsible for spending 2-4 hours a week caring for and connecting with the people of FFC through phone calls, meetings, and emails.
  • Crisis Care : Responsible for responding to any team member under your oversight that is facing a crisis care situation such as a death in the family, funeral, hospitalization, or offense
  • Small Group

    • Enthusiastically lead a small group in each of the 3 small group semesters.

  • Help recruit and launch 5 small groups in the Spring / Fall semester.
  • Dream Team
  • Connection : Responsible for assisting new Dream Team members under your oversight find their place within the Dream Team culture.
  • Fellowships / Training : Ensure that all teams under your oversight are having 2 fellowships per year and 2 pieces of training per year. (once per quarter)
  • Leaders : Responsible for ensuring all teams are being led by an approved leader.
  • Schedules : Responsible for ensuring that all team members under your oversight are on a monthly schedule, serving regularly, and fulfilling their God-given potential.
  • Communication : Responsible for communicating weekly with your team leaders under your oversight and that your team leaders are communicating weekly with their teams. Lead DT huddle as assigned by Campus Pastor.

    • Events and Conferences

  • All special events and conferences are designed to help people connect to small groups. The Experience Director works alongside the pastoral team, creative team, and small group coordinator in the execution of the following events :

    • Revival Nights

  • Small Group Kickoffs
  • Marriage Night
  • Dream Team events / Leadership Summit
  • Mothers Day-
  • First Wednesdays
  • Fathers Day
  • Surge Student- relevant experience teams for event
  • Serve Day- relevant experience teams for event
  • Mens Night

  • Sisterhood Womens Conference
  • Vision Partners Event
  • At The Movies
  • Sundays in December
  • Toys for Tots
  • Christmas Eve Services

    • Other Duties as Assigned

  • Administration

    • Manage and delegate office tasks to the Office Dream Team as necessary.

  • Maintain an up-to-date group roster, teams list, and Dream Team schedules.
  • Understand and implement Faith Family values and code.
  • Maintain current documents that will simplify and organize the running of the department :

    • policy and procedure manual

    Have the required knowledge :

  • Working knowledge of computers and basic computer programs, such as : Planning Center, Monday.com, Google Suite, Expensify, Bamboo HR, Mailchimp, and Clearstream
