Job Description Summary / TWC Summary :

Under general supervision drives university buses, vans or other vehicles to provide prompt and safe transportation for University students and staff. Transports equipment, faculty, staff, and students of the University to local and out-of-state events.

Essential Duties Summary :

• Transports University vehicles for various departments, including but not limited to Athletics, to local and out-of-state events.
• Maintains log of mileage, fuel and passengers to prepare state required reports.
• Checks to make sure bus is always safe.
• May assist in driver training for other employees.
• May wash clean dump restroom of bus on return from trips.
• Responsible for loading and unloading luggage.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range : $19.53 - $24.90

Education :

High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent and specialized or technical training.

Required Licensing / Certification :

CDL with passenger endorsement.

Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred.
