A well-established and respected fire protection contractor is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to create code-compliant fire protection system layouts for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. This is a high-impact, full-time position based in Greenville, SC, with a compressed work schedule and a strong pipeline of work.This is a full-time, onsite position based in Greenville, SC.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates within the Eastern U.S. This is not a remote or hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design sprinkler systems using HydraCAD and AutoCAD, adhering to NFPA 13, NFPA 14, and other applicable codes
• Develop detailed layout drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material takeoffs
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP plans to ensure seamless design integration
• Communicate with AHJs, clients, contractors, and installation teams
• Assist with submittals, permitting, and approvals
• Revise drawings as required throughout construction and post-installation
• Stay current with code updates and industry trends

Qualifications:

• ~ 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection design principles
• Proficient in HydraCAD and AutoCAD
• Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings
• NICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems Layout (preferred)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and 7-year background check

• Monday–Thursday schedule, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• No travel required
