Job Description Actuary Full-Time/ Fully Remote
Our client is seeking a driven and analytically sharp

Responsibilities: - Lead pricing analyses and rate adequacy reviews to support profitability and underwriting objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end ratemaking process, including pricing new products, rate changes, and modeling alternative pricing structures.
- Support the development and refinement of actuarial tools and methodologies for pricing and reserving.
- Oversee reserve analysis projects, including quarterly reserve reviews and monthly IBNR roll-forwards.
- Partner with accounting, auditors, and external actuaries to support financial statements and actuarial opinions.
- Conduct and automate data validation, cleansing, and reporting tasks to ensure data integrity.
- Interact with regulatory bodies on rate filings and provide testimony as needed.
- Contribute to product strategy discussions, providing actuarial insight into new product development.
- Present complex analysis and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Stay informed of emerging industry trends, regulatory changes, and advanced actuarial methodologies.
- Lead and participate in special projects related to actuarial, financial, and underwriting initiatives.
- Mentor actuarial analysts and potentially lead project teams.
Job Requirements Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of actuarial experience, preferably with homeowners or commercial lines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong programming and data analysis skills using SQL, MySQL, Oracle, R, Python, or VBA.
- Solid understanding of insurance ratemaking and reserving principles.
- Effective communicator with strong presentation skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project environments.
Preferences: - Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) preferred.
- Progress toward Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) is a plus.
- Experience with regulatory rate filings and responding to regulatory inquiries.
- Prior involvement in product strategy and cross-department collaboration.
