Responsibilities :

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Oversee job costing processes to ensure accurate tracking of labor, materials, and overhead against project budgets.
• Lead and mentor teams responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
• Prepare detailed financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide strategic decision-making.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and support increased business volume.
• Ensure compliance with Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting requirements and maintain accurate project financial records.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Supervise vendor payments, collections, and payroll to maintain smooth financial operations.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills and construction-specific software to streamline accounting tasks and reporting.
• Proven expertise in construction accounting, including job costing and cost tracking.
• Strong knowledge of Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting and complex job costing structures.
• Proficiency in construction-specific software such as Sage, Procore, Foundation, or Viewpoint.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growing organization and handle diverse financial responsibilities.
• Leadership skills to effectively manage and mentor accounting teams.
• Experience preparing financial statements and performance reports tailored to executive needs.
• On-site availability in Glendale, Arizona, to foster team collaboration and effective communication.
