Project Genesis, a Connecticut Non-profit, seeks several Independent Living Skills Trainers (ILST) with at least one (1) year of brain injury experience to teach living skills to individuals in our Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) program.

As an Independent Living Skills Trainer / Life Skills Coach with Project Genesis, you will earn $18 per hour. Plus, if you work full-time with our organization, then you’ll enjoy the following benefits :

To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent AND 2 years of experience working with clients with brain injuries OR a bachelor’s degree and 1 year of brain injury related experience. You also must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, 3+ years of a good driving record, and proof of insurance as you will be driving to a client’s location. A flexible schedule is necessary as is an Acquired Brain Injury and Person-Centered Certifications.

Our Independent Living Skills Trainers / ILST Instructors are essential in empowering individuals to live more independently and improve their quality of life.
