Hammond Organist

New Hope Church of Norfolk is seeking a Church Musician to serve and assist the lead music director for the worship music ministry for New Hope services including in house and out.

Job Requirements:

• Assist Choir director with coordinating the music ministries
• Work with the Pastor and staff in general planning and conveying information about the music program
• If not available for rehearsal or performance, must arrange for a replacement
• Provide music for weekly services and occasional festival services
• Must be available and attend all rehearsals as scheduled by choir director in house and out
• Sight reading is a plus
• Able to play Hammond Organ, keyboard and piano
• Play by ear preferred
• Music theory training required

Experience:

Music: 2-5 years (Preferred)

Shifts:

Sunday 10 am Service (Required)

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $300.00 to $500.00 /week
