Job Description :

  • The Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging manufactured products by following work instructions, production drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications.
  • This role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality and safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Read and follow work instructions, work orders, production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions.
  • Interpret assembly instructions, drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications to assemble and test quality products.
  • ssemble product components using hand tools, power tools, machines, and other equipment.
  • Completely assemble, test, and package products built on the production line.
  • Disassemble and repair products returned by customers as required.
  • Set up moderate to semi-complex test equipment to measure and record assembly conformance to specifications.
  • Set up test stands with appropriate plumbing for pneumatic and hydrostatic testing per product specifications.
  • Complete required test documentation, including test reports.
  • Inspect and document materials, heat numbers, components, subassemblies, and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Complete inspection documentation, including marking of heat numbers and nameplates.
  • Participate in Lean events and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Report unsafe acts or conditions to supervision immediately.

    • Requirement / Must Have :

  • Basic computer experience.
  • bility to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Experience following safety and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

    • Experience :

  • Minimum of one year of related experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in assembly or testing of manufactured products such as oil and gas equipment, automotive repair, appliance assembly or repair, or electronic device assembly or repair.

    • Qualification And Education :

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

    • Should Have :

  • Experience assembling and testing products such as relief valves, chemical injection pumps, control, dump, check or butterfly valves, and liquid level controllers or switches.
  • Experience in high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • bility to work with minimal supervision while meeting quality and productivity standards.
  • Experience with manufacturing line setup and documentation.
  • bility to read and interpret assembly drawings and Bills of Material.
  • Experience safely operating assembly, testing, hand, and power tools.
