Senior Public Safety Officer

Patrol property by vehicle and on foot, ensuring a safe and secure environment
Manage door screenings, access control, and lock / unlock procedures
Support morgue duty, package delivery, animal deliveries, parking, traffic control, and response calls
Prepare accurate incident and departmental reports
Operate and monitor security technology systems, reporting issues as needed
Assist motorists, provide escort services, and relieve dispatchers when required
Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate Public Safety Officers on your team
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills
Calm under pressure with sound decision-making in emergencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

This is a full-time position. In this role, you are considered ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL. Officers work within a healthcare campus environment and may rotate across posts. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required : High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred : Associate's Degree
Required : Minimum 2 years as a Public Safety Officer or related experience
Required : Valid Class A, B or C Texas drivers license.
Preferred : International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) certification
Required : Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
