Wisconsin Licensed Claims Consultant

A company is looking for a LTC Technical Claims Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in handling complex, contestable, sensitive, and large benefit amount claims

Assist staff with claims review, appeals, and legal consultations, including preparation for litigation

Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of Claims Analysts and Specialists

Required Qualifications

College degree or equivalent experience with five+ years in medical and claims / underwriting

In-depth knowledge of high dollar and contestable claims

Strong understanding of disability income, life waiver of premium, death, and long-term care claims

Proven ability to lead and mentor others effectively

Extensive knowledge of medical and legal terminology, underwriting principles, and claim administration
