Kiawah Partners is currently hiring Landscape Laborers! Landscape Laborers are responsible for the overall care and maintenance of lawns, shrubs, flowerbeds, walks and gardens of on-island properties. Duties include, but are not limited to : mowing and weeding grass, laying sod, planting grass and other types of plants, and fertilizing. Some experience using lawnmowers, leaf blowers, edgers, and trimmers is preferred, but not required. The schedule for this position is 5 days per week as follows :

Monday - Friday : 6 : 00 am to 2 : 00 pm

Qualifications

• The ability to lift and carry at least 30 lbs, and to sit, stand, kneel and walk for long periods, is required
• Qualified applicants will be comfortable working outdoors for long periods in varied weather conditions
• Applicants must be comfortable with the regular use of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes
• Some previous experience as a landscaper or horticulturalist is strongly preferred, but not required
• Experience operating powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, leaf blowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws is preferred
