Public Safety Officer, Unarmed, Days

Overview:

Public Safety Officer Main Campus Full Time, Day Shift 7am to 7pm

Every Other Weekend and includes holidays

Responsibilities:

Responsible for a variety of routine safety and emergency security activities while safeguarding students, employees, visitors, patients and property. First responder to all emergency incidents within the assigned facility. Responsible for the safe de-escalation of critical events and the use of sound judgment in the engagement with combative or escalating subjects.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or GED preferred

Minimum Experience Required: Two years of experience in general security, military or other public safety experience preferred

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law: Valid Drivers license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500
