Job Overview As a classroom teacher, you will create a safe, nurturing, and academically rich environment that supports students' academic, emotional, and social development. Ideal candidates are flexible, committed to differentiation, and eager to grow in a collaborative setting. Primary Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Use data to inform instruction and track progress. Submit weekly lesson plans in advance (3-day lead required). Collaborate with staff on interdisciplinary activities and school-wide initiatives. Communicate regularly with families about student growth. Support students’ emotional and social well-being. Participate in ongoing professional development and events. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 18 credit hours in Education or a related field Eligible for or currently holds Florida Department of Education certification Preferred Experience At least 2 recent years of successful classroom teaching experience Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus, though not required Willingness to participate in Montessori-based training Key Skills Strong classroom management and organization Proficient in differentiated instruction Tech-literate (Smart Boards used in all classrooms) Flexible and team-oriented Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to support diverse learning styles and student needs Work Environment & Culture 10-month academic calendar with summers off 10 days paid time off Close-knit team atmosphere with school events and volunteer opportunities Teachers are expected to volunteer for at least one event per quarter Opportunities for stipends and additional responsibilities Ready to join a team making a difference in the lives of young learners?
