Dental Assistant

We are a large, fast-paced private dental practice committed to delivering high-quality patient care in our well-established office. We are seeking an energetic, highly self-motivated Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our team. We value initiative, problem-solving, and a positive attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete accurate chart notes, treatment plans, post completed procedures
• Confirm patient identification, review and update patient health history
• Capture and manage scans using Trios and CBCT imaging
• Place composite restorations
• Seat permanent crowns
• All additional assistant responsibilities, including but not limited to: assist with all surgeries, preliminary impressions, packing cord, placing build-ups, making and cementing temporary crowns, adjusting and delivering partials, dentures, interims, Essix and whitening trays, implant restorations, comprehensive and limited exam appointments and sterilization.
• Efficiently multitask in a high-volume practice
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve clinical situations
• Provide outstanding patient care and maintain a professional, friendly atmosphere

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency with Dentrix, CBCT, iTero
• Tech-savvy including but not limited to: electronic inter-office communication, electronic consents, time-clock, payroll system
• Quick learner and highly self-motivated
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to thrive in a busy environment
• Positive attitude, team-oriented and dependable
• High emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills
