The Opportunity

Are you enthusiastic about exploring new frontiers in AI powered experiences? The Gen AI Experience team is looking for a senior full-stack engineer to help build the next generation of AI-first products. You will combine UI expertise with solid full-stack engineering skills, enabling seamless integration of AI systems into scalable, production-ready experiences. This role sits at the intersection of design, engineering, and applied AI, with a heavy focus on integrating with (and creating) AI driven services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class, responsive, and scalable UI/UX solutions for mass audiences.

• Architect and implement sophisticated front-end solutions using ReactJS, TypeScript, and modern frameworks.

• Extend beyond the UI: build and maintain microservices that integrate AI features into end-to-end workflows.

• Work directly with AI APIs, prompt engineering techniques, and orchestration layers to bring intelligence into Adobe’s products.

• Team up with Product Managers, Engineers who specialize in AI/ML, and Designers to efficiently prototype, iterate, and launch features guided by artificial intelligence.

• Ensure performance, security, and accessibility at every layer of the stack.

• Promote quality: collaborate on code reviews, improve test automation, and embrace the craft.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience building highly performant web applications.

• Expert proficiency: Hands-on experience working with AI/LLM APIs (, OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI) — including prompt engineering and system integration.

• Expert proficiency in JavaScript, React, , and at least one other programming language.

• Strong UI/UX sensibility for building polished user interfaces.

• Solid experience designing, integrating, and maintaining REST APIs (GraphQLa plus).

• Experience with cloud-native development, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles and modern tooling.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across design, product, and engineering.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data pipelines.

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (fine-tuning, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation).

• Experience using data visualization, dashboards, and personalization systems.

• Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The pay range for this position is $139,000 -- $257,550 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $177,900 - $257,550

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
