What You'll Do :
In the Live in Resident Coordinator role, you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure living environment for clients of one or more of Interfaith's programs. Working alongside a comprehensive team of skilled professionals, the Resident Coordinator engages with case managers and other team members to support individuals in regaining self-sufficiency.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist with client intakes, transfers, coordination of services, and discharges.
- Acclimate new clients to their living arrangements and orient them to program policies, procedures, and shelter rules.
- Monitor resident behavior, interactions, and overall well-being, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Respond appropriately to crisis situations, including de-escalation and safety / risk assessments, following established protocols.
- Promptly notify supervisors and appropriate staff of problematic behaviors, compliance issues, or safety concerns.
- Maintain a drug-, alcohol-, and violence-free environment in accordance with program policies, report any concerns immediately.
- Administer First Aid / CPR as needed and follow emergency protocols.
- Contact emergency services when necessary and provide accurate, timely information.
- Maintain hallways and common areas free of debris, wheelchairs, and other hazards; perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in absence of janitorial services.
- Prepare rooms and beds for new admissions or upon client exit.
- Support clients in making and attending appointments, arranging transportation, and coordinating related services.
- Provide support in therapeutic activities and interventions within scope of role and program policies.
- Accompany clients to appointments for support under the guidance of qualified personnel as needed.
- Review and update daily logbooks, brief incoming shift staff on relevant issues.
- Accurately record emergencies, disciplinary actions, incidents, and other notable events during shifts.
- Escalate operational concerns and client needs to supervisory staff in a timely manner.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and all required staff meetings and training courses.
- Ensure confidentiality of all client information and records.
- Conduct facility safety checks, wellness checks, fire drills, and utility inspections to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support transportation specialists with vehicle readiness, transportation schedules, and documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with other Resident Coordinators to promote a positive and cohesive community.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

High school diploma or equivalent, requiredValid CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certificate / s to be completed within three (3) months of hireMinimum 1 year experience working with severely mentally ill, medically fragile, and / or homeless populations preferredKnowledge of alcohol and other drug recovery fields, preferredBilingual (Spanish / English), preferredSKILLSETS / ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
