Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Richmond, Virginia, on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving organizational success. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial management within the healthcare industry and a proven ability to lead teams effectively.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide strategic financial advice to the organization and its Board, ensuring alignment with long-term goals.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive financial strategies, including forecasting and risk management.
  • Manage budgeting processes, financial reporting, audits, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead capital planning initiatives, investment strategies, and cultivate strategic partnerships.
  • Act as the primary financial liaison, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering growth and collaboration.
  • Enhance financial systems and processes to drive innovation and operational efficiency.

Requirements :

  • 7+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Expertise in cash flow analysis, ensuring effective management of financial resources.
  • Proven ability to oversee capital management and strategic financial planning.
  • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management (ERM) practices to mitigate organizational risks.
  • Experience working with business systems to optimize financial operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing teams and stakeholder relationships.
