The Opportunity

As an Associate Market Clinical Director, you'll wear two hats: Clinical Leader and Patient Care Provider. You'll directly supervise and mentor Clinical Directors while maintaining your own patient panel, ensuring our centers deliver exceptional outcomes that transform senior healthcare.

Your dual role includes:

• 80% Leadership: Driving clinical excellence across multiple centers
• 20% Direct Patient Care: Staying connected to our core mission as a PCP

What You'll Do

Clinical Leadership Excellence

• Lead & Develop Talent → Supervise, mentor, and performance-manage Clinical Directors across your market
• Drive Outstanding Outcomes → Ensure centers exceed clinical performance and P&L objectives
• Build Winning Culture → Cultivate physician teams aligned with ChenMed's core model and values
• Accelerate Growth → Partner with talent acquisition to recruit top clinical talent

Strategic Market Impact

• Community Engagement → Build relationships with payers, specialists, and community leaders
• Quality Leadership → Monitor scorecards and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Operational Excellence → Oversee referrals and utilization management
• Innovation Driver → Implement cost reduction and clinical strategies

Direct Patient Care

• Transform Lives → Deliver exceptional primary care to your patient panel

What We're Looking For

Clinical Excellence

• MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar specialty
• 2+ years clinical experience (3+ years preferred)
• 1+ years Medical Director experience with Medicare/Medicaid populations preferred
• Board eligibility required (Board certification preferred)
• Current active medical license in state of employment

Leadership DNA

• Proven clinical leadership with track record of outstanding outcomes
• Natural teacher and mentor to fellow physicians
• Population health management experience
• Quality improvement expertise

• Communication → Spoken and written fluency in English
