Patient Population : Adults to Geriatrics

Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements : Post MI, Heart failure, Arrhythmias, Chest pain, Peripheral Vascular Disease; Peritoneal Dialysis; Telemetry, EKG, Doppler

Ratio / Census : 1 : 5; 16 Beds with average daily census of 16

Unit Systems : Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

RTO : MAX 7 days

Weekends : 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period

Floating : Yes, to other Cardiac Telemetry Units or other units as needed

Call Requirements : None

Holidays : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
