There is an immediate full-time hourly position available for an Assistant to Administration at our Plano Community Home West Campus, The position is an onsite, Monday through Friday, 40 hour a week position. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Life and AD&D, STD, LTD, Vision and 401k plan. Also included are vacation, sick time and paid holidays. Work schedule is from 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. Monday through Friday, to include an hour lunch break. Job pays $ 17.00 and $ 19.00 per hour, commensurate on experience.
The Assistant to Administration will support and assist the Director of Campus Administration with rents, recertifications and office tasks as needed, as well as assisting residents with business office requests while providing excellent customer service.
Some but not all of the tasks are :
- Answering Phones
- Responding to Building Emergencies
- Filing
- Faxing
- Data Entry
- Scheduling Appointments
- Creating and executing various Resident Activities
- Update and Maintain Resident Files and Information
- Order Office Supplies and ensure they are available and stocked
- Enter work orders and file when complete
- Update and Maintain Resident Handbooks
- Assist DOCA with Resident Recertifications - Done Annually
- Other administrative and supportive duties as assigned
- Must be accurate and organized and able to perform the same tasks weekly and efficiently and meet crucial deadlines
- Moderate to strong computer skills needed
- Must enjoy working with seniors and interacting with multiple cultures
- HUD experience is strongly desired
- Collect and enter rent information Realpage software
Qualifications :
Preferred : 2 years college or related work experience in apartment leasingBilingual a plus;Ability to handle senior resident issues with sensitivity and compassion, while maintaining a professional demeanor;Ability to provide excellent customer service, both on the phone and in person;Experience in working with the elderly and some knowledge of the aging process preferred;Ability to organize and set priorities, multitask calmly and efficiently;Knowledge of Fair Housing;Able to work within the parameters of the job, be able to enforce and accept documents and rules set forth by HUD;Able to accept constructive feedback / criticism and implement changes as discussed;Ability to concentrate, pay attention to details, and produce error free, efficient work despite daily interruptions;Ability to communicate in English effectively, both in writing and orally;Able to perform heavy lifting duties which includes lifting up to 50 lbs., prolonged sitting, repeated bending, squatting, stooping, standing, pushing, pulling movements.Must possess strong interpersonal skills as well as good communication, organizational, writing, and problem solving skills;Must be flexible and a team player.E04JI800nnoi407skgu
