Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized role is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification and school-based experience, to support students in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a dedicated educational environment, fostering speech and language development for young learners during the complete school year.

Key Qualifications :

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Prior experience as an SLP in a school setting
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills for pediatric populations
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of educational regulations and individualized education program (IEP) processes

Location :

  • Elementary school located in Holton, KS

    • Primary Responsibilities :

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, documenting services and communicating effectively with all stakeholders
  • Provide consultative support to classroom staff to promote effective communication strategies
