Associate Patient Services Specialist

This position is part time and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts at Petaluma Valley Hospital, CA. Performs all registration functions for patients. This includes collecting accurate demographic information, verifying insurance benefits and eligibility, obtaining authorization / pre-certification for services provided, and collecting patient liability prior to or at the time of service. Greets and serves patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner to promote sacred encounters.

Required Qualifications :

• 1 year - Experience in a healthcare or customer service setting with proven customer service skills.
