Internal Speech-Language Pathology Traveler (SLP) - Cambridge Healthcare Services
Reports To : Regional Director of Therapy / Facility Therapy Manager

Position Summary :
Provides speech-language pathology services across multiple SNFs, supporting residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs, while mentoring SLP assistants and therapy teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Evaluate residents and develop individualized SLP treatment plans.
Deliver therapy sessions addressing speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing.
Travel between facilities according to schedule.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, facility leadership, and families.
Mentor and support facility therapy staff.
Maintain regulatory and documentation compliance.
Required Qualifications :
Licensed SLP in California
Experience in SNF or post-acute care preferred
Proficient in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic interventions
EMR proficiency

Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents as required for patient care.
Ability to safely transfer residents using appropriate techniques and equipment.
Work Environment :
Primarily within skilled nursing facilities, with frequent travel between multiple sites.
Exposure to typical clinical settings and resident care activities.
