Opportunity Details

Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in western Kentucky that has an opening for a skilled Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum coverage.

Opening Details :

• Schedule : 24-hour call shifts, 3-7 days per month
• Setting : Inpatient / EMTALA call
• Patient Population : Adults
• Duties : Procedures, general cardiology consults as needed, and reading studies (including EKGs, ECHOs, and stress tests)
• Required Procedures : Balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasties, percutaneous coronary interventions, heart catheterizations, and coronary angiograms
• Support Staff : 2 interventional cardiologists
• EMR : Epic Cupid
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & expenses
