Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments of patients’ medical and surgical conditions to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plansProvide direct bedside nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, medication administration, and continuous monitoring of patient statusAdminister prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies while monitoring for effectiveness and potential adverse reactionsMonitor vital signs, lab results, and patient responses to interventions, promptly identifying and addressing changes in conditionEducate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care to promote recovery and self-managementCollaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality careMaintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in accordance with clinical, legal, and regulatory standardsEnsure a safe, clean, and sterile care environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocolsParticipate actively in discharge planning to support smooth transitions to home or other levels of careFoster a therapeutic environment that promotes patient comfort, dignity, and healingQualifications & Experience
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Associate or Bachelor’s degree required)Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or CanadaLicense endorsement assistance available for eligible candidatesOne (1) or more years of nursing experience preferred (new graduates may be considered based on role and setting)Strong clinical knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and patient care standardsBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications preferred based on unit needs
