Position Overview :

We are hiring a Cost Accountant to support accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and financial reporting. The Cost Accountant will work closely with part numbers and SKU data to create and run reports and queries that drive key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities of Cost Accountant :

Maintain and analyze product and inventory costs using SKU#s and part#s.

Write and run custom reports and queries for finance and operations.

Track material, labor, and overhead to ensure accurate cost allocations.

Investigate inventory variances and reconcile discrepancies.

Support standard cost updates, cost rollups, and financial close activities.

Assist with audits and compliance related to cost accounting.

Collaborate across departments to improve cost accuracy and reporting.

Qualifications of Cost Accountant :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3+ years of experience as a Cost Accountant in manufacturing or distribution.

Proficient with ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI).

The Cost accountant must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Experience working with BOMs, SKUs, and part number structures.
