Logistics Specialist

The Fountain Group  is currently seeking a  ­­­­Logistics Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in  ­­ Louisville, KY. Details for the position are as follows :

Job Description :

Pay : $20 / hour on W2.

Shift : Onsite – M-TH (7 : 30am - 6 : 30pm) or M-F (7 : 30am – 5 : 30pm).

Duration : 3-months – potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget.

Overview :

• Accurately pick and pack marketed product against shipping orders
• Using manual labor, pallet jacks, and powered industrial equipment (forklifts, walkie riders, turret trucks) move product and non-GMP supplies from storage areas and delivery trucks
• Perform physical counts of product
• Perform functionality / safety checks of equipment (i.e. forklifts)
• Access various databases and input data with a high level of accuracy
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Record creation, collection, and storage per corporate retention policy
• Perform department related project activity that may include investigating, analyzing, formulating possible solutions, documenting processes, and communicating results.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or equivalent required .

5+ years of experience required .
