Position Summary : The FinTech & AI Certificate Program Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and industry partners involved in both the FinTech Certificate and AI Certificate Program. This role provides academic advising to current and prospective students, guiding them through program requirements, course prerequisites, and application procedures. The coordinator communicates application outcomes and program approvals, maintains accurate records, and ensures compliance with reporting requirements from UGA and USG. The coordinator facilitates 12-15 corporate-sponsored student projects each semester, and supports collaboration between students, faculty, and industry partners. The position also manages major annual events such as the Truist Immersive Learning experience and the USG FinTech Academy Academic Summit, overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution. A key responsibility includes assisting more than 200 active students in securing required fintech internships by developing and maintaining relationships with corporate partners to expand internship opportunities.
