About the Role
The Assistant Program Director at UE Heart supports the Program Director in overseeing day-to-day school operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality, accessible, and responsive educational and therapeutic services for students with emotional, behavioral, and social needs. In this role, you may take lead responsibility for specific program initiatives, content areas, or teams, providing leadership, guidance, and professional development to staff. The Assistant Director also works directly with students and families and collaborates with external partners to support student success, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and enriching learning environment.
About the HEART Program
Seneca's Unconditional Education HEART Program partners with Hayward Unified School District to support students and families through their most difficult times. The HEART program currently has Counseling Enriched Classrooms (CEC) on 7 Hayward School District campuses. Each classroom is made up of a team of Mental Health Counselors, a Teacher, and a Therapist. The program offers individual, family and group therapies, alongside behavioral systems that emphasize positive reinforcement and incentives. Bachelor's degree plus comparable experience may be considered in lieu of master's degree
Schedule
Monday to Friday : 8 AM - 4 : 30 PM (ability to work occasional flexible schedule when school needs vary)
