Accounting Specialist - APPLY TODAY AND LETS CHAT!

Our client is seeking an Accounting Specialist to work from our office and support accounts payable, accounts receivable and other various account reconciliations.

Primary Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist

  • Prepare customer invoices and apply cash receipts.
  • Accepting credit card payments and performing collection calls as necessary.
  • Process customer credit applications and conduct reference checks.
  • Maintain cash liquidity report and reconcile cash.
  • Assist with month-end closing.
  • Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports.
  • Record invoices and process weekly checks and invoices, expedite as necessary.

    • Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Specialist

  • Holds bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or business.
  • Prior experience working in non-profit.
  • 2+ years' experience in general ledger accounting
  • Tech Savvy (intermediate with Excel)
