Job Description
Participates in the design, implementation, and evaluation of community-based injury prevention programs with a special focus on child passenger safety, both within the community and discharging from Connecticut Children's. The Program Coordinator role has elements of both community health education and community organizing and will be responsible for implementation of transportation related unintentional injury prevention interventions and educational activities. The role also includes efforts to further build the training capacity of Connecticut Children's to increase the availability of technicians in northern CT and to better support those doing this important work.

Qualifications
Education and / or Experience Required :
High School Diploma must have 5 years in child passenger safety or community safety programming.
